You may notice that each page on this site begins with a (hopefully) relevant quote from the Sherlock Holmes Canon. I have done this for three reasons. First, I feel that there are plenty of sites concerning the Master Detective, and that I could never hope to contribute anything meaningful to the literature on that subject, so simply passing on a few of Holmes' words of wisdom is the best I can hope to do. Second, I thought it would be a nice idea to give the whole site a kind of cohesiveness, which the quotes contribute to. Finally, I have great respect for morally-driven intellect, whether real or fictional, and as far as fiction goes, Holmes is at the top of the list.

I will try to keep this site up to date. However, as this site is a mere hobby for me, I cannot guarantee regular updates. Hopefully, there is enough content here to keep all my guests amused until the next time the mood hits me to add more.
